“New” Cottage Inspired Lamp Makeover

posted in: Cottage Decorating | 9

I have been sprucing up my livingroom and needed a new lamp to go on the left side of my couch.
I hopped on over to my local thrift shop and picked up this one for a mere $2.75. I liked the shape of it and it would compliment the lamp I have on the opposite side of the couch. (Pictures of that will be in a later post)

I gave it a coat of silver paint and pulled a lampshade I’ve had sitting in my closet for months and covered it in a soft rose fabric embelished with ceramic rosettes I’ve had in my craft supply closet forever.
Here’s my “new” lamp…. well, new to me!

I will be posting pics of my livingroom re~do soon. I am still hunting for the perfect end table and will be replacing my coffee table as soon as I give it a facelift. Stay tuned!!!

Thanks for stopping by today!
