Decorating with vintage decor can give your home a sense of nostalgia, character and history. I love decorating with flea market finds. I am personally drawn to vintage canning jars, old advertising tins, red and white enamelware, wood furniture, milk glass and vintage kitchen items.

So how do we creatively display all of our cherished treasures? Soffit space above your kitchen cabinets is a great place to display your treasured vintage kitchen goods. A pleasing arrangement of kitchen collectibles on the soffit space will draw the eye up and give your kitchen personality. Collectibles can be displayed on shelves, mantels and tabletops. Create a cute vignette by placing a few vintage finds on a pile of books for added height and interest. Vintage silver trays make wonderful centerpieces and a great base for an arrangement of collectibles.
