Weekend Treasure Hunting Fun

I spent Saturday morning rummaging through local yard sales with my daughter. It was a beautiful day and we had a great time treasure hunting. There were two large church yardsales that we hit first. Church yard sales are my favorite as they usually have a wide variety of items and the prices are wonderfully low. When we pulled up to the second yardsale my jaw dropped and my eyes went wide. The whole parking lot was full of stuff! It was more like a fleamarket than a yard sale.  Items were randomly thrown about on tables and in boxes. Most items weren’t marked with price tags.
Here is a picture of the great things I picked up. I snagged this desk for a mere $10! It will be painted black and put in my son’s room. I came home with some great china teacups, knick knacks and vintage treasures.
Some items will be cleaned up and others will be redesigned.
All this for under $40! I’d say I had a good day, found some neat finds and had a ball with my daughter.
