Martha Inspired Creepy Halloween Party Invitation

This year we are hosting a Halloween Party and I wanted to send  a memorable  invitation. Inspired by a few Halloween Party invitations offered by Martha Stewart and with a little help from Dollar Tree this is what I came up with…
I found bags of rubber “bloody” fingers at Dollar Tree along with some red shredded paper used for gift baskets. I designed the invitation on my computer using a few different fonts, tore the edges and put “bloody” fingerprints on them with red paint.
I bought these great assortment of Halloween gift bags on clearance ( $.50 for a pckg of 4 or 5) and labels at Michael’s. I rolled the finger up inside the invitation and tied it with jute string. I then put the invite inside the baggy along with the shredded paper, tied it with ribbon and topped it off with a name tag.

I can tell you these invitations have been quite the conversation piece! I am sooo excited about this party this year and can’t wait to share photos of the big event. Stay tuned for more ideas, recipes and a tour of my “Haunted Mansion”!
