Mid Summer Cottage Garden

posted in: Cottage Decorating | 2

Well, here we are almost at the end of the summer. It has been extremely hot here in eastern NC this year and aside from waterting I haven’t been doing much gardening in this heat and ugly humidity. I would like  to share some photos of how my Cottage Inspired Garden I have created in back yard has been doing.
Its a work in progress but am happy with how its coming along.

This Purple Salvia I planted this year is doing quite well.
This crepe myrtle sits in my front yard and has been blooming for the past few weeks. They are one of my favorite trees.
This is next year’s project. I plan on turning this fence in area into a Peter Rabbit Inspired Vegetable patch. There is nothing better than home grown vegetables!
Thanks for stopping by today!

Oh your vegetable garden really does remind me of the garden of Peter Rabbit. So cute.
Now, I'm inspiried to build a similar one in my backyard.
