Simple Steps To Make Your Own Candy Corn Flower Pot Candy Favors

  1. Use the paper plate as your paint palette. Squirt each color onto the plate as needed.
  2. Paint the clay pots as shown. Paint the bottom 1/3 white. Let Dry. Paint The Middle Yellow. Let Dry. Then paint the top rim and inside of the pot orange. Let Dry. I usually do two coats of each color.
  3. Once dry you can add decorative dashes around the edges of each stripe with the black paint marker for a little extra detail.
  4. Take your painted pots outside and give them a light coat of clear sealer inside and out.
  5. When completely dry and odor free, place a cellophane bag inside each pot, fill with yummy candy corn and close it by tying a neat bow with the ribbon!

Give them away at your next Halloween party or put one at each place sitting at your Thanksgiving table. Add a tag with a message or name on each one for an extra special touch. When the candy is gone you can slip in a votive or tealight candle and use them in your Fall decorating next year!
