Summer Blooms From My Cottage Garden…and a Sneak Peek!

Happy Wednesday Dudes & Dudettes! Its been pretty hot here in Eastern NC and we are pretty much in a drought . We’ve had one quick rain storm in the past two months or so. My grass is now HAY as it is all brown and crunches under my feet. I’d love to water but our water bill is too high as it is. I have however been dilligently tending to my gardens and would like to share some photos with you today. This is a shot of my back garden right off the back of the house. A Cottage Inspired Garden Porch Makeover!

Hi Ya Folks! Aside from the MANY tornados that ripped through our area this past Saturday evening, the weather here in Eastern North Carolina has been just beautiful lately! The sun has been shining, the birds are singing again and the temps have been staying in the upper 60′s ~ lower 70′s. Just PERFECT in my book! Time to open the windows and let the fresh air in!
