As you may know, my home is always evolving and things are always changing.  We’ve recently added to our living room a beautiful new laminate floor. My husband and I decided to tackle this project ourselves with the help of our (moaning and groaning) 15 year old son. Our living room is a near perfect rectangle so how hard could it be….RIGHT???? Flea Market Table Makeover Revealed~ I need your opinion!

Hi Folks,You may remember last week I posted a picture of a table I bought for $25 at a local thrift shop. Well, the table is finished and I love it! Here’s some eye candy just for you…. OK. Here is my dilema. I am tired of the red and am now ready to repaint my chairs and can’t decide on a color. I saw a picture of chairs that were painted aqua over red and when distressed, the red showed through. I loved them but not sure how they would look against the table. My second choice is satin black. Its classic and timeless. What do you think? Fabulous Flea Market Flamingo Chair

It’s time again for another Flea Market Find Transformation! I bought this chair for $15 at ny favorite thrift shop. I loved the shape and was able to look past its tired cushion and walnut stain. I painted it a cottage green with a drybrush technique and added and hand apinted flamingo. The cushion was re~covered with a cute as can be Flamingo inspired fabric. I love how this turned out and it now sits in a client’s beach house.
