I bought this antique dresser at a thrift store for a mere $20.00 about a year ago. What a steal! I loved the shape of it and the casters on the bottom. I brought it home and placed it in the garage. I painted it white and distressed it and there it stood for months, tucked away under boxes of stuff! Life got in the way I guess you can say.

Well, last week I finally cleaned out my garage, cleaned up the dresser and it made its way into our master bedroom. It has finally found its new home and I Love it. I’ve hung an antique mirror above it and think they compliment each other perfectly.
Sometimes you just have a stroke of luck when out treasure hunting. I am sure whoever priced it at $20 could not see past its pitiful appearance. A simple coat of paint, sand paper and a little elbow grease transformed this piece from an “Ugly Duckling” to a Beautiful White Swan!
Thanks for visiting today!
